伊万里の染付の豆皿です。話をしている二人の人物が描かれています。お屋敷のお庭の風景で、庭の植え込みや大きな木、欄干などが丁寧に描かれています。屏風の設え、人物の服装などから、身分の高い人が若者に何かを教えているのでしょうか。いろいろ想像が広がる絵付けが楽しい作品です。
