ファイヤーキングのゲームバードシリーズ、ダックのプリント柄です。

ゲームバードとは猟鳥のこと。
1959年から62年の短い時期に製造されたシリーズです。

ハンドルがアルファベットのＤの形をしているため、Ｄハンドルマグと呼ばれています。ファイヤーキングを代表するマグカップになります。手が入れ易いため、安心して握ることができます。

1941年にアメリカのアンカーホッキング社の耐熱ガラスブランド「ファイヤーキング」が誕生しました。ブランドは現在も続いていますが、1941〜86年まで製造されていた耐熱ミルクガラスが有名です。その後、耐熱ミルクガラスは製造を終了しました。
ファイヤーキングの耐熱ミルクガラスは、ガラスに乳白色を混ぜ込んだ独特な質感のガラスです。残念ながら製造は終了しましたが、今でもオシャレなヴィンテージ食器として、コレクターに愛され続けています。

This series was produced for a short period from 1959 to 1962.

It is called a D-handle mug because the handle is shaped like the letter D. This is Fire King's signature mug. It fits comfortably in your hand, so you can hold it with confidence.

In 1941, the American company Anchor Hocking launched its heat-resistant glass brand, Fire King. The brand is still around today, but is best known for its heat-resistant milk glass, which was produced from 1941 to 1986. Production of heat-resistant milk glass has since ceased.
Fire King's heat-resistant milk glass is a unique glass with a milky white color mixed into it. Unfortunately, production has ceased, but it continues to be loved by collectors as stylish vintage tableware.
