人間国宝 金城次郎氏の長男金城敏男氏の長男金城吉彦氏の作品。

白化粧で魚を掻き落としで、のびのびと描いています。少し大きめの茶碗。魚は富と幸福 子孫繁栄を表しています。

マカイは、お茶碗やどんぶりを総称する沖縄の言葉。飯マカイは、マカイと飯を組み合わせた言葉で、ご飯茶碗を意味する言葉です。口径に対して高さが低く高台が広いのが特徴です。

This is a work by Kinjo Yoshihiko, the eldest son of Kinjo Toshio, the eldest son of Living National Treasure Kinjo Jiro.

The fish is painted freely with white paint and scraped off. It is a slightly large bowl. The fish represents wealth, happiness, and prosperity of descendants.

Makai is an Okinawan word that collectively refers to rice bowls and donburi. Meshi makai is a combination of makai and rice, and means rice bowl. It is characterized by its low height compared to its diameter and wide base.
