人間国宝 金城次郎氏の長男金城敏男氏の長男金城吉彦氏の作品。

白化粧で魚を線彫りで、のびのびと描いています。少し大きめの茶碗。魚は富と幸福 子孫繁栄を表しています。

マカイは、お茶碗やどんぶりを総称する沖縄の言葉。飯マカイは、マカイと飯を組み合わせた言葉で、ご飯茶碗を意味する言葉です。口径に対して高さが低く高台が広いのが特徴です。

This is a work by Kinjo Yoshihiko, the eldest son of Kinjo Toshio, the eldest son of Living National Treasure Kinjo Jiro.

A fish is drawn freely with line engraving in white paint. It is a slightly large bowl. The fish represents wealth, happiness, and prosperity of descendants.

Makai is an Okinawan word that collectively refers to rice bowls and donburi. Meshi makai is a combination of makai and rice, and means rice bowl. It is characterized by its low height compared to its diameter and wide base.
